Andrew McKie

Andrew is a chartered civil engineer, starting his career in the design and construction of transportation projects in the UK and overseas. His early career kindled an interest in improving the procurement and contractual arrangements for project service and delivery. Andrew subsequently studied for a master’s degree in construction law from King’s College, London, ahead of joining Buro Happold, a global consultancy firm, where he helped to establish a successful team working with public sector organisations to improve service delivery.

Prior to establishing DMsqd with Martin and Dave, Andrew ran his own consultancy from 2013, advising a range of public bodies on infrastructure procurement and contracting models in highways, property and waste management sectors. His work covers all elements of the service delivery lifecycle, from the development of the Strategic Outline Business Case through to the preparation of tender documents and ongoing support service delivery.
